HOSANA first with the news! Starbury and the $15 shoe
More than 2 weeks after we reported it on this site the Daily Mirror is running an article on the Stephon Marbury endorsement deal.
Keep checking HOSANA.CO.UK for all the latest news as it happens.
----------------------------------------------------
Stephon Marbury of the New York Knicks has confounded the sports world with his latest shoe deal.
In an era of high priced shoes that reach the giddy heights of $250 with the new Adidas Men's 1.1 and Air Jordans regularly reaching $200, Stephon has gone to the other extreme.
Marbury has launched a new shoe that he will wear in the NBA and it will retail for only $14.98. YES, that's not a typo, that's less than £10.
Marbury who has worn And1 and Nike in the past in the NBA has shunned the big brand names to launch the new shoe exclusively at Steve & Barry’s.

Sweet
Nike haven't been cool for about a decade. Design is OK sometimes but the swoosh kills it. Style aficionados wouldn't be seen dead in them but these shoes and Stephon Marbury rock with attitude and I'd love a pair please Starbury. cefrith at hotmail dot com if you know your stuff. :)
Marbury
The journalist who wrote the article obviously fell for the press release hook, line and sinker.
Married to La Tasha, the father-of-three picks up £8.7million a year as a point guard.
But unlike so many bling-obsessed Premiership stars, Marbury has managed to keep his feet on the ground.
Hmmmmm....this is the same Stephon Marbury who is the face of NBA Ballers - the video game where the artwork is 100% based on "bling" iced out sh*t...and where the advert says:
"If you want the fantasy lifestyle of an NBA superstar, NBA Ballers is your ticket to the top. Bask in all that success can bring: cribs, cars, jets and more."
